Chicken Lamp That Lays a Glowing Egg — Funny Night Light

A white resin hen lamp with a red comb standing on a yellow base, laying a glowing round egg bulb, with a shocked Clucky Diva chicken in pink glasses and a feather boa in the corner. Headline reads "SHE LAYS A GLOWING EGG!" with a "WTF?! Finds" badge on a rustic background.

I have seen a LOT of chicken decor in my life. I am, at this point, a professional chicken lady — I have the flock, the egg apron, and the mascot to prove it.

So when I tell you this lamp stopped me mid-scroll and made me laugh out loud in my own kitchen, understand: I do not impress easy in the chicken department.

But a hen who lays a LIGHT BULB? Baby. That's not decor. That's a colleague.

Okay, I Found Another Little Treasure...

This is a resin hen lamp — white hen, red comb, standing proud on a yellow base like it's a stage. And right under raised tail sits a round, glowing EGG. The egg is the light bulb. She is, at all hours of the day, mid-lay. Eye contact. Dignity fully intact. Not a feather out of place.

Clucky Diva has seen the photos and has questions about her brand being infringed. Lawyers have been contacted. (The lawyer is also a chicken.)

✨ What Makes This One Fun?

The glow is warm and soft — the light shines right through that translucent egg and it's genuinely cozy, not just a gag gift with a cord.

Speaking of the bulb: it's a REAL, replaceable E12 bulb. She doesn't die when the bulb does — you just pull the old egg out and twist in a fresh one. She can lay glowing eggs forever, which is more than I can say for my actual hens, who takes entire winters off like they're union.

And she is a conversation starter everywhere she lands. Nobody — NOBODY — walks past a laying pump without stopping to ask questions.

🌻 A Few Things I'd Like You to Know

She compact — about 5.7 inches long and 5.2 inches tall, under a pound — so think nightstand, bookshelf, and countertop territory, not floor-statement territory.

The bulb is included and the cord is a generous 68.5 inches, so she's ready to glow right out of the box. Set your expectations right, though: this is a cozy accent glow and night light, not a read-a-whole-novel lamp.

The listing says she's UL listed, and the brand offers a lifetime replacement programs, which is a bold promise for a laying lamp — but I'll take it.

💡 Where I'd Put It

Kitchen counter, obviously — the egg layer watching over the egg gatherer is poetry. She'd also kill on a farmhouse shelf, or on a guest room nightstand where your overnight guests have to process her at 2 AM.

And as a gift? The listing practically begs for it — chicken lovers, housewarmings, birthdays, Easter, Christmas. This is the gift for people to describe at other parties.

❤️ Cheryl's Treasure Chest Verdict

Is she dignified? Absolutely not. Is she the hardest-working hen in the entire lighting industry? Without question. This is peak 🤯 WTF? Finds — a thing I did not know existed this morning that I now cannot picture my kitchen without.

My real hens lay regular eggs like peasants. This queen lays LIGHT.

Until next time, Happy Treasure Hunting.
